For as long as many can remember, the section of the Los Angeles River that runs east of downtown has been an open-air gallery for taggers. No more.

This is my home turf, and my vista as I ride Metrolink and Amtrak out of downtown south. The several-stories high tags are legendary and an LA landmark, and I guess now, soon, gone.
