Yvon Chouinard
Patagonia's founder, Yvon Chouinard, appears on an American Express commercial for their members project with Takepart.com. The piece was filmed in and around Ventura County by academy award winning cinematographer Robert Richardson and directed by Scott Hicks of "Shine" fame.
Beautiful and inspirational.
Nokta
Nokta (Dot) is an abstract film project which is an improvisation of organic pieces while considering themes like power, chance and luck. I also wanted a perspective that can be subjectified by viewers.
Its stunning what the kids are doing these days. Best to view it HD on YouTube.

True/False 2010
Recap video from the 2010 True/False Film Fest. Boxcar Films worked all weekend to finish this video and premiere it before the closing night film "Last Train Home" on Sunday night. The song in the video is "Birthday Song for Bridgegirl" by Capybara.
All shot on the Canon 7D and 5D Mark2. Compiled and edited over the course of the festival, which is becoming one of the major destinations for doc film-makers. I was there with my new film, HolyWars, and it was a blast.

Haiti Earthquake Aftermath Montage
Khalid Mohtaseb was hired to go to shoot in Haiti a week after the devastating earthquake that hit the island. While he was there, he decided to shoot a personal montage in his spare time on the 5DmkII. What he created was definitely a small touch of beauty in the sadness.
