No Right Brain Left Behind
NRBLB was a 7 day innovation challenge asking creatives to re-think creativity and innovation in education. In 7 days, we received over 300 concepts from 150 teams nationally. Top 3 ideas were picked by a judging panel led by Sir Ken Robinson.
Love this initiative. Education has been broken for decades, and we desperately need to reinvent how we teach kids to learn in an ever faster evolving world. Creativity is at the core of what is needed in the future, and that is precisely the area that has been cut from most education. Time to rethink. This is a great start.

The most important thing a creative person can learn professionally is where to draw the red line that separates what you are willing to do, and what you are not. Art suffers the moment other people start paying for it. The more you need the money, the more people will tell you what to do. The less control you will have. The more bullshit you will have to swallow. The less joy it will bring. Know this and plan accordingly.
