The site isn't the greatest, but the work sure is. Every stop in this portfolio leads you into another well thought-out creative solution for an interesting client. Brilliant work for the likes of the UN, Obama, Bill&Melinda Gates Foundation, Livestrong and several other worthy causes really puts them over the top in my book. Enjoy.

Bijoux Indiscrets.

post_1723-450x300.jpg

Barcelona based Bijoux Indiscrets offer an array of products which supposedly enhance the level of kink in your love life. While I am being cynical, I would actually love to try out their edible chocolate jasmine ink and feather plume set. Reminiscent of Peter Greenaway's The Pillow Book, sans the whole killing your lover part.

Harold Pinter

Harold Pinter made this speech in 2005 upon receiving his Nobel prize for literature. Quite the piercing speech about Art, Truth, and Politics.

Merry Xmas from Stolen LA

post_1665-450x372.jpg

Hard to believe 2008 is almost over. Its been a year with a lot of changes, both personally and politically. We accomplished one of our big goals for this year, which was to get Surfstation back to a usable site. We'll be busting out a lot of original content in the new year, so stay tuned.

Have a great holiday everybody!

“The search for knowledge, truth and a greater understanding of the world around us”

“The truth is that promoting science isn’t just about providing resources—it’s about protecting free and open inquiry,” President-elect Obama said. “It’s about ensuring that facts and evidence are never twisted or obscured by politics or ideology. It’s about listening to what our scientists have to say, even when it’s inconvenient—especially when it’s inconvenient. Because the highest purpose of science is the search for knowledge, truth and a greater understanding of the world around us. That will be my goal as President of the United States—and I could not have a better team to guide me in this work.”

This is so important. No more ideology. Lets base our decisions on inquiry and reason. Its the only way we can progress. 2009 will be a very interesting year.

TIME Person of the Year 2008

post_1598-376x381.jpg

Congratulations to Barack Obama for his TIME Person of the Year Award. (Who else were they gonna give it to really?)

Take some time and read the accompanying article. Its very well written and gives a great deal of insight into the kind of man Obama is, and what kind of President he will be. Now that the dust of a two year campaign battle has settled, its good to see that our choice is doing his utmost to make change a reality in DC and in this country.

Congrats to Shepard for the cover illustration. Its only fitting that a street artist was commissioned to do the cover considering the kind of grass-roots year we've had. 2009 will be a very interesting year.

Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.

Buy a t-shirt while helping a very specific cause. Rosa Loves is less about charity and more about awareness, awareness that we are all apart of something greater and are therefore joined by common threads.
